MATERIAL: Böhler K110 1.2379 steel tempered at 58-60HRc.
It is a very high quality steel, better than other steels with the same composition.
TYPES OF ENGRAVING:
- Standard for marking soft or hot metals: Engraving tip according to thickness of the logo and solid surfaces, 20º taper.
- Robust for hard metals: Engraving tip 0.1mm, only lines are engraved, 40º taper.
- Low fatigue for hard metals: 0.25mm rounded engraving tip, only lines are engraved, 45º taper.
TRACEABILITY:
Manufacturing number engraved on the side that identifies the punch.
It is a light, agile and ultra-resistant punch, ideal for small marks such as logos, signatures, initials, texts, codes, etc.
The punch has a band on its side that indicates the foot of the engraving to achieve correct centering when punching. All round body punches have a mark on the side to know where the foot of the logo or design to be marked is, this way you can easily punch with the mark always well placed.
Together with the punch Ref P8/100 we deliver a rubber stopper to avoid knocks with other punches when storing it and instructions for correct use.
This punch allows you to mark both cold and hot metal.
